Minecraft x LEGO At LEGO CON (con short for a convention, not con like a con artist), LEGO revealed all of these new collections, including Minecraft, Starwars, Football aka Soccer sets like Barcelona (that team that was awesome to play with in FIFA 2008). They look awesome… too awesome…

The Minecraft LEGO collaboration started in 2018. The first set of this new collaboration was the 71081 LEGO Minecraft Micro World, an all-new city block that features a larger-than-life LEGO Minecraft Creeper and Steve with a bow in hand. “This is just the beginning of our long-term partnership with The LEGO Group and we are committed to creating more amazing sets based,” said Patrick Bova, GM of LEGO Gaming.

Random facts that I didn’t know so I am going to share it with you: LEGO originated from Denmark. Also, it’s family-owned. Little mind-blown over here. You? Shocking I know...

There will be a total of three sets available this year, with the other two coming in 2018: Minecraft Micro World: The Desert Outpost and Minecraft Micro World: The Jungle Temple.

When I was a young kid, I did four activities: Legos, Halo, Soccer, and I plead the fifth on the fourth. LEGOs are awesome, you get to be creative, build some cool castles, have monstrous battles, etc. Minecraft has the same principles as LEGOs. Create whatever you want, destroy what you built, and repeat!

With LEGO having so many awesome and iconic partnerships, Minecraft fits right in! I hope that they bring iconic LEGO Movie characters to Minecraft! That’d be sick like wait why are they not doing that!

Okay so now that I have talked myself into creating a mod that makes Minecraft x LEGO, I am really thrilled that these two creativity giants keep inspiring and keep working together.
